You should add friends and family that tick some or all of the following points:

Q: Who shall I make my Primary Contact?

You need to select one person from your Circle to be your Primary Contact. This should be your most trusted and reliable friend. They will be sent follow-up alerts to your messages if no one responds.

Q: What phone do I need to use Circle?

Circle works on iPhone and Android devices.

Q: How can I be located?

Circle uses Wi-Fi, mobile internet and GPS to locate you.

Q: Will I be charged for messaging on Circle?

No. Circle is completely free to use.

Q: Can I be located without my permission?

No. Your location is only sent when you send Collect Me, Interrupt Me or Check-in messages.

Q: Is Circle collecting personal information about me?

Circle only records your phone details and basic registration information. We will not share any of your personal data without your permission. Read our Privacy Policy for more information.

Q: How do I change my Primary Contact?

Simply click on the contact you’d like to make your new Primary Contact to change.

Q: How do I delete friends from my Circle?

Simply click on the contact you wish to delete and you’ll see the option “delete contact”.

Q: Can people see what messages I have sent?

No. Messages sent from you are not recorded on your phone.

Q: Can other people see what messages have been sent to me?

Messages that you have received are listed on your phone only.

Q: How do I know my messages have been sent?

When a message is sent you will see a tick in the middle of the main Circle screen.

Q: I’m not getting notifications.

This is most probably because your notifications aren’t set up yet. Simply turn on notifications in App Settings.

Q: Will Circle work even if my Pay As You Go credit has run out?

Yes. If you are out of phone credit, Circle will continue to send and receive messages as long as your battery has power and you have access to a network connection.

Q: When should I just call emergency services?

Circle is not a substitute for emergency services. If you or a friend are in serious danger you should call the emergency services immediately.
